Surrey and Norfolk won the ECB Under-17 Boys County Cup A & B division finals at Kibworth Cricket Club in Leicester yesterday.

Surrey claimed a four-wicket victory over Durham in the A division final. After claiming three early wickets, Surrey continued to dominate with the ball to restrict Durham to 149 for nine; an innings that saw a late 49-run partnership for the final wicket.

Surrey were always ahead of the required run rate and, despite losing wickets, controlled their chase to reach the target in the 48th over, finishing on 152 for six.

Norfolk enjoyed a one-sided B division final as they eased to a seven-wicket triumph over Cornwall. Norfolk controlled the game from the first ball as they bowled Cornwall out for 85 in the 32nd over.

In reply, Frankie Sutton top-scored with 43 and Jason Reynolds hit an unbeaten 21 as Norfolk cruised to victory in the 27th over, ending on 86 for three.
