Essex and Yorkshire reach U14 final

Essex and Yorkshire are through to the final of ECB Under-14 County Championship after beating Staffordshire and Hampshire in the semi-finals at Oakham School.

Yorkshire booked their place in the final with a commanding 138 run victory over Staffordshire whilst Essex beat Hampshire by 67 runs in the second semi-final played on the same day.

The final, which was due to be played last Wednesday, was abandoned due to rain and will be rescheduled for a later date.
