Lancashire thrash Kent
On the second day of the U15 County Championship Finals Festival the event moved to Kibworth Cricket Club for the last two rounds of matches.
Lancashire played against Kent on the front pitch and after throwing away a winning position against Wales the day before all eyes were on how they recovered from that experience.
Within three overs Oliver Jump (4-12) had given an emphatic reply as he reduced Kent to two for four. J Lilley (22) and C Speller (30) were the only Kent batsmen to reach double figures and Ryan Williams (4-20) mopped up the lower order.
Kent were dismissed for 76. When Lancashire batted it was immediately obvious that there were no demons present in the pitch.
Lewis Jackson (31 not out) and Sean Vandome (43 not out) saw Lancashire home in only 18 overs for a win by 10 wickets.
Sean finished the match in style with a six and a four off consecutive deliveries. Lancashire certainly redeemed themselves after their effort the previous result.
