Dorset cling on to earn draw
Shropshire fell agonisingly short of earning a priceless victory as Dorset clung on to earn a draw, despite being nine wickets down at Bridgnorth.
After winning the toss and electing to bat, Shropshire, led by skipper Ed Foster's 115, posted an impressive 327 first up.
Dorset responded, though, equalling the hosts' total as Chris Morgan and Chris Park made half-centuries.
That left the game finely poised before Alex Huxley's 91 was followed up by a quickfire 102 from Chris Murtagh as Shropshire declared on 383 for eight.
Dorset lost wickets at regular intervals in reply, but Nick Park hit an assured half-century to keep their hopes alive.
And his efforts were backed up by Chris Park, who hit an unbeaten 47, while number 11 Eric Linge survived 15 balls as the visitors grabbed a hard-earned draw.
