Cockspur Cup 2006 dates confirmed
The dates have been confirmed for the 2006 Cockspur Cup.
Won by Sussex side Horsham in 2005, the ECB National Club Championship will begin in 2006 with the first round on Sunday April 30, running through to the final at Lord’s – which is provisionally on September 4.
Matches must be played on the dates scheduled by the ECB.
Matches in the first five rounds can only be changed from the scheduled date by mutual consent and any re-arranged match must be played by the closing date for that round. Any re-arrangement must be notified to the ECB Cricket Department beforehand.
Matches where no result can be achieved on the original scheduled date can be re-arranged by mutual consent but must be played by the closing date for that round.
Matches in the sixth round, quarter-finals, and semi-finals must be played on the scheduled dates, unless both sides mutually agree to play before the scheduled date. A reserve date of the following Sunday is designated for matches where no result is possible on the original scheduled date for those rounds.
