Deadline looms for club championship
The ECB National Club Championship 2012 deadline is approaching soon and all entries must be received by the ECB by Friday 25 November. Entries may be posted or emailed to the ECB offices.
The ECB National Club Championship 2012 will once again bring together the best club sides in the country with Shrewsbury, the 2011 champions, looking to retain the title they won at Derby in September.
We are once again limited by the busy summer schedule to a competition of just eight rounds; therefore only 256 clubs can enter.
Demand for places always exceeds supply so it will be necessary to limit the number of clubs that are included. The following criteria will be used in judging suitable entries:
1) Complete player registration carried out on the club’s play-cricket site.
2) The league and division that the club plays in on a Saturday.
3) Standard of the club’s ground and ancillary facilities.
4) Previous history of the club in the competition.
As such, this invitation and your completion of the entry form is not a guarantee that your club will be included in the competition for 2012 as the above entry criteria may have to be invoked.
More information and the entry form can be found below.
