Mallards fly into finals

Vauxhall Mallards will represent The Gibbs Denley East Anglian Premier League in the next stage of the Cockspur Club Twenty20 after beating Bury St Edmunds in the league final after a hard-fought day.

Twenty-year-old James Cowan of Godmanchester Town can count himself as very unlucky to find himself in a losing team as he returned identical figures of 4-16 from his four overs in both his side's matches; even more remarkable is that both spells included hat-tricks!
