Teams chase U13 finals berth

ECB U13 National Club Championship

Having won their county competitions, U13 Club sides from all across England, Wales and Scotland will play each other in the regional finals, hoping to make the national finals of the MCC Spirit of Cricket National Club Championships.

These will be held at Oakham School on Thursday and Friday August 13-14. Out of a record 1803 entrants, these are the remaining sides.

The North final, to be held at Woodhouse Grange CC on July 29, sees all sides heading south as Washington (Durham), South Kirkby (Yorkshire), Thornton Cleyeley (Lancashire) and Grange (Scotland) face each other.

Wolverhampton have the home advantage in the Midlands & Wales final, which takes place in the city on July 28. Wolverhampton (Staffordshire) will be accompanied by Radcliffe-on-Trent (Nottinghamshire), Dorridge (Warwickshire), and Newport (Wales).

Axminster will host the South & West regional final on July 29, welcoming Bristol (Somerset), Poole Town (Dorset), North Cotswolds (Oxfordshire), and Haverley & Reading (Gloucestershire).

Finally, the London &East final will be decided at Bishop’s Stortford on July 29. Competitors include Blackheath (Kent), Sheen Park (Middlesex), Cambridge NCI (Cambridgeshire), and local side Letchworth (Hertfordshire).
