Cornwall number three Dan Davis’ aggregate of 216 runs underpinned their 125-run victory over hosts Herefordshire at Brockhampton.
Somerset leg-spinner Michael Munday also picked up nine wickets in the match to give Cornwall their first Minor Counties Championship win of the season, leaving Herefordshire still looking for their’s.

The home side chose to bowl first but saw Cornwall rack up 384 all out from 83.1 overs as Davies struck 153 from 160 balls, including 21 fours and four sixes. Former Somerset man Keith Parsons made 84, adding 203 with Davis. Charlie Griffiths took 5-98.
Herefordshire replied with 299 for eight as David Exall finished unbeaten on 98 after opener Harshad Patel made 76. Munday took 4-95.
Cornwall set their opponents a daunting target of 355 to win after posting 271 second time around, as opener Matt Robins contributed 69 and Davis 63. Griffiths took his second five-for, although his 28 overs cost 127.
Patel’s 58 helped his side made a reasonable start to their pursuit with 58 but Munday’s 5-96 and Tom Sharp’s 5-78 completed a comfortable victory.
