Newquay sent packing by Paul
The lead changed hands again in the race for the Jolly’s Drinks ECB Cornwall Premier League title after the latest round was blighted by rain and fog.
Paul went back on top by nine points after beating the weather and Newquay by 81 runs.
Paul made 159 for six and Newquay were all out for 78 in reply.
The match of the day between St Just and Truro ended in anti-climax with Truro on 125 for five when fog caused an abandonment.
Callington are up to fourth after easily winning at Falmouth, who were bowled out for 64. Callington passed the score without loss.
Only one innings was possible at Grampound Road. St Austell made 184 for nine and after only seven balls of Grampound Road’s reply rain stopped play.
Werrington’s good end of season form continued with an eight wicket home win over Penzance. The visitors were dismissed for just 61.
