Paul extended their lead to 32 points in the Jolly's Drinks Cornwall League by beating Truro by 17 runs after making 214 for nine. Truro were 197 all out with Tim Marrion making 86.

St Just dropped ten points when they could only draw their home game with Werrington. Alex Smeeth made 104 in Werrington's 235 for seven.

St Just ended on 210 for seven with Gavin Edwards 74 not out. Third placed Grampound Road won by 79 runs at Falmouth after recovering to 184 for five. Falmouth were bowled out for 106.

Newquay were bowled out for 74 at St Austell with Andrew Libby taking 6-18. St Austell lost five wickets in reaching their target. Bottom side Penzance avoided defeat for the first time this season when they drew at Callington.

The home side made 239 for seven with Matt Robins run out for 99. Penzance were 203 for seven at the close.
