Werrington coast to title win
Werrington won the Jolly’s Drinks ECB Cornwall Premier League for the first time, pipping St Just to the 2012 title after winning nine of their 18 games and going undefeated.
Camborne were bowled out for 137 with Seb Street taking 5-32. Werrington lost two early wickets but took the title thanks to an unbroken third wicket stand of 118.
Ben Smeeth made 64 not out and his brother Alex an unbeaten 54.
At the other end of the table Paul ensured their survival and relegated visitors Troon.
Paul made 186 to gain the bonus points they required. They went on to win the game by 13 runs as Troon made 173 all out. Elsewhere Callington beat St Austell by 95 runs after making 225 for eight with Matt Robins making 78.
St Austell were 130 all out. Grampound Road made 131 for eight at Falmouth who were dismissed for 124 all out to lose by seven runs.
