Kidlington have been removed from this season's Cockspur Cup after they fielded a player under a false name in their Second Round tie with Reading which they won by 28 runs.
The club, who play in the Home Counties Premier Cricket League Division Two West, played Jehan Mohammed, from Cherwell League club Morris Motors Exiles, under the name Aquib Lakab.
As a result, Kidlington have been expelled meaning the re-instated Reading will now play Oxford in the Third Round on Sunday.
