ECB ACO

The Young Officials Course will take place at Lord's on February 11 at 10.30am and is open to anyone aged 16-25

ECB ACO have teamed up with the Balfour Beatty London Youth Games to run a one-off Young Officials Course for those between the ages 16-25 at Lord's on February 11.

The course, which will begin at 10.30am, will teach young people new skills in order for them to officiate at the London Youth Games cricket events.

These will take place on February 25-26 and March 3-4 at Harrow where all Young Officials will be mentored by senior officials, providing a great chance to build confidence and knowledge of officiating.

There is a further opportunity to umpire at Lord’s where the BB LYG cricket finals will take place on March 11 and to see first-hand the senior officials in action. LYG strives to provide opportunities for young people.

To book a place on the course at Lord’s contact Faye Dixey at faye@londonyouthgames.org.
