More background information on the survey
Sport England has commissioned Ipsos MORI, the independent opinion research company, to conduct this important study, which is the first of its kind in the UK. The survey will establish what is important to people when they take part in cricket and how satisfied they are with the quality of their sporting experience.
The survey will be repeated on an annual basis so that progress can be tracked over time.
We would encourage you to forward this on to any cricket club members to take part in the first survey of this kind. Club members can register to take part in the survey by clicking on the link above - the registration will take no more that two minutes to complete.
All club members who sign up will then receive an email from Ipsos MORI within the next couple of months, inviting them to complete the online questionnaire.
In excess of 40 sports, including cricket, will be covered within the survey.
Ipsos MORI are a leading market research company and guarantee your anonymity – no one is identified in the reporting of results and you will not be contacted for sales or marketing purposes as a result of completing the survey.
The results will help shape the future of your sport as they will support improved planning and investment decisions. We very much hope that you will pass this on to club members to take this opportunity to make sure views about participating in cricket are heard.
All club members who do take part will be sent an exclusive preview of the headline results by Ipsos MORI, so you will be able to see what people really think about cricket.
