If you want to start playing women’s or girls' cricket at any level but don't know where to turn, your first point of call should be one the ECB Women & Girls Development Team.

Their roles include:

• developing new clubs
• forming new girls' leagues
• forging school-club links
• introducing girls to the sport at a local level
• advising on funding issues
• helping men’s clubs that want to start up women's and girls' sections
