Yorkshire hold their nerve

Yorkshire got the better of Devon in a nerve-jangling semi-final of the LV = Under-13 County Championship that went down to the last over.

Yorkshire stuttered as they chased 150 in 30 overs after Alli Kelly top-scored for Devon with 44 not out.

Hollie Armitage and Sophie Berry both made 30s in reply but it needed some composure from Yorkshire's ninth wicket pair of Katie Thompson and Katie Toogood to seal the victory with just two balls remaining.

Their reward is a place in the final against Surrey which will be played on September 19.

Surrey beat Warwickshire by two wickets in another tight game.

Nadia Iqbal was the pick of the Surrey attack with 3-22 as Warwickshire were dismissed for 126.

Libby Walters led the reply with 34 at the top of the order to help Surrey to victory.
