Elwiss leads Sussex home

Sussex were crowned ECB Women’s Twenty20 County Cup champions as they cruised to a 10-wicket victory over Berkshire in the final at Wokingham Cricket Club.

Izi Noakes (3-5) and Georgia Elwiss (3-15) ripped through Berkshire’s top order as they were bowled out for 52 in the 19th over.

Alexia Walker (39) and Elwiss then knocked off the runs in six overs for Sussex who were unbeaten in the competition.
