Charlotte Edwards will be on hand at the Saffrons next week to offer advice and coaching tips to the next generation
England women’s captain Charlotte Edwards will be the star attraction when Eastbourne CC hosts a coaching course next week.
The camp takes place at the Saffrons next Monday and provides youngsters with the chance to speak to and learn from one of the finest players in the women’s game.
Organised by the Sussex Cricket Board with the support of Chance to shine, Brit Insurance and the ECB, the course is part of a nationwide roadshow that will see England’s top female cricketers visiting clubs around the country.
Open to girls aged 8 to 11, the camp will include a varied programme of fun cricket games and skills and will cost £15. This is part of a week-long camp costing £60.

Through the Chance to shine project, Eastbourne are now in their second year of having a girl’s section which has grown to 30 girls taking part in weekly training and festival days with clubs around the county. For more information contact Kevin Key on 07505 960456.
