A pink ball will be used for the first time in an international match in the United Kingdom on Sunday when England face Australia in the fourth NatWest Women’s Series one-day international.
The ground-breaking move is part of ‘Pink Sunday’ at Wormsley Cricket Ground in support of the Breast Cancer Campaign.
‘Pink Sunday’ will turn the beautiful cricket ground created by the late Sir Paul Getty on the Wormsley Estate pink, as the teams, the ball and even the champagne all turn pink for the day.

Clare Connor is thrilled about 'Pink Sunday' at Wormsley, saying: "We are all hugely excited by this new initiative and are delighted that Cricket Australia are keen to play their part"
Spectators are also being asked to wear pink and give generously to Breast Cancer Campaign, which works tirelessly to beat breast cancer by funding innovative world-class research. It is expected to be the first of many pink events at Wormsley as this new initiative grows.
ECB head of women’s cricket Clare Connor said: “We are all hugely excited by this new initiative and are delighted that Cricket Australia are keen to play their part.
“Breast cancer is a cause that resonates with all women and we are pleased to be able to contribute in some way, however small, towards finding a cure.
“With the weather set fair and with some great cricket already having been played by these two world class sides, I think we're in for a real treat this Sunday. Please do come and enjoy the day with us.”
Limited tickets are available for the game which starts at 10.45am, with entry to the ground from 9.15am. Tickets, hampers and hospitality packages are all available at www.wormsleycricket.co.uk or by calling the ticket hotline on 0844 847 1742
