Pakistan defeated the Netherlands to secure their spot at the 2013 Women's World Cup. Sri Lanka today also qualified for the event

Sri Lanka and Pakistan booked their places at the 2013 Women’s World Cup with victories in their final qualifying matches in Dhaka, Bangladesh.

The two sides will join West Indies and South Africa at the event, which also features world champions England, along with Australia, India and New Zealand.

Sri Lanka defeated Bangladesh to secure their qualification, while Pakistan saw off the Netherlands in a one-sided encounter.

Bangladesh and the Netherlands will now face the USA and Ireland respectively to determine who, along with the World Cup qualifiers, will earn ODI status.
