Wyatt ecstatic with call-up
Teenage all-rounder Danielle Wyatt is turning her attention towards making her England debut on the tour to India, having come to terms with the shock of receiving her first senior international call-up.
The 18-year-old was in Sydney when England coach Mark Lane told her she would be travelling to India with the one-day international and Twenty20 world champions this February.
Wyatt, who admitted the news was a "big surprise" and rendered her "speechless", is thrilled by the prospect of a potential international debut.

Danielle Wyatt is hoping to make the most of England women's tour of India after her first senior international call-up
“It will be a dream come true having my name on the back and playing for my country. It's a great achievement and I'm going to enjoy it,” she told ECBtv.
“I was absolutely over the moon. I had a missed call from Mark Lane, so I called him back. He said, 'Congratulations, you’ve been called up for the England tour to India'.
“It was a big surprise. I didn’t expect to get into the team this year seeing as England have just won the World Cup. It’s a great achievement and all my family are proud of me.”
England are due to play five ODIs and three T20 internationals during the tour, for which they arrive in Bangalore on February 15.
The Staffordshire batsman and off-spin bowler described training with the England squad as ‘hard work but worth it’ and she is determined to gain from the experience of touring with England.
“I’m really excited there is not long to go now,” she said. “I need to improve one or two things in my bowling but I am just going to enjoy it and enjoy the experience.
“I have got to show my skills off to everyone and do my best.
“India will hold completely different conditions, being hot and humid, so its going to be a great benefit for me seeing as we have the World Cup there in 2013 so it will be great.”
