Askew replaces injured Brunt
Seam bowler Lynsey Askew will replace Katherine Brunt in England women’s squad for their forthcoming quadrangular series in India against Australia, India and New Zealand.
Having not come through a fitness test on Friday morning, it was decided that Brunt would remain in England to recover.
Askew is set to join the squad, who are currently in the middle of preparation ahead of their first game against India on February 21, on Monday.
