I thought this was going to start off quite stressful as we had to go shopping for an outfit for Cheesy’s birthday.
We went to Parramatta shopping centre, which is the second largest in the southern hemisphere.
It was like being on the programme ‘What Not to Wear’ as Cheesy has now gained the nickname Trinny for giving Beth and I advice. Mainly telling us no you can't wear that whenever we picked something up.
On Tuesday, Lottie told us to meet at Cockle Bay Wharf where they had booked dinner at a place called Nick's, which was right on the water.
It was a really nice evening and it finished with a few quiet drinks in a bar called Watershed.
We trained at the SCG on Friday and did our usual journey by getting the train and taxi, so it was quite strange when we had a phone call Friday night from Alex and Kate Blackwell asking us if we wanted to borrow their spare car, which was sweet as now we have three cars - but only one now that actually starts first time and can actually drive long distances.
On Saturday night we were invited to a 21st birthday party. Quite a lot of people from our three teams were there and it turned out to be quite a good night.
I loved the jukebox and even managed to get some R 'n' B music on, which the Aussies seemed to like and people were actually dancing which was a slight shock as I never get to put my music on back home.
I learnt a good lesson from Cheesy that night. If you ever want to clear the dance floor, put Charlotte Church on. The whole floor cleared within the first five seconds, which was quite amusing.
Sunday was the big game - Balmain verses Wallsend - at Waverly, which is very close to Bondi Beach and you could see the ocean from the stands.
We won the toss and chose to bat and got off to a great start as Leonie Coleman and Michelle G (Gossy) shared a good partnership.
We lost our way in the middle and only managed to get 170. I got 29 before being caught by Cheesy of all people.
Some good bowling, first up by Fez and Goody, restricted Wallsend at the start of their innings.
Fez took the early wickets of Jen Wallace and Sarah Andrews and there was some sharp fielding from Julie Hayes to run Leah Poulton out.
Enter Cheesy to the crease. She rode her luck a little but played some lovely shots to get her team back on track.
I bowled 10 overs straight through and was glad that before my last over there was a drinks break.
In the end I was glad of that last over as I bowled Cheesy. I think she is becoming my new bunny.
Wallsend only needed three an over but some tight bowling in the last four overs from the openers meant that they needed three to win off the last ball.
The ball was hit up in the air to mid off and somehow they managed to scamper two runs, so it was a tie. It was quite strange, really, to bowl 100 overs and for it to finish in a tie was weird.
Next week is a busy week as I head up to Brisbane to play for South Australia.
