Spragg beat Warrington and weather

Following a severly rain affected first week in the ECB Women's Premier League competiton only one match was possible where Old Modernians defeated Warrington.

Old Modernians were asked to bat and managed 163 from their 50 overs with Anna Spragg contributing 75 and Helen Wardlaw a useful 34.

In reply Warrington were all out for 95 with Phoebe Graham taking 3-15 and Robyn Chylde 3-16.

The North and South Premier Leagues are managed by ECB and are the pinnicle of domestic women's club cricket, forming the top of the pyrimid that sees nearly 300 clubs playing some form of women's cricket.

There are feeder leagues to the Premier Leagues in all ECB regions and the volunteer managed South Women's League.
