Academy complete Sport Relief Mile

The England Women's Academy squad advance around the Chinnaswamy Stadium outfield during their Sport Relief Mile

The England Women's Academy squad raised over £500 by running a Sport Relief Mile during their High Performance Camp in Bangalore.

Being thousands of miles from home did not stop the 13 girls from raising money for people living in difficult conditions in the UK and the world’s poorest countries.

They braved the southern India heat at the Chinnaswamy Stadium, home to Indian Premier League franchise Royal Challengers Bangalore, to complete a mile by doing laps of the outfield.

The 10-day camp, which began this week, is the academy’s first trip to India.
