A sterling showing from left-arm spinner Abdur Razzak ensured a third consecutive one-day international win for Bangladesh, by 26 runs over Zimbabwe.
Razzak claimed a career-first five-wicket haul, finishing with 5-33 to leave the tourists 194 all out in response 220.
Shahadat Hossain got things off to a fine start for the hosts, finding an extra yard of pace to shatter opener Brendan Taylor’s stumps.
Razzak was soon introduced and responded with two quick wickets.
His first victim was Taylor’s opening partner Stuart Matsikenyeri, bowled after misjudging a sweep shot, and he was followed by Chamu Chibhabha - lbw just one run later.
Hossain had Hamilton Masakadza caught soon afterwards, before a gutsy stand of 75 between Sean Williams and Elton Chigumbura put Zimbabwe back in contention.
Mashrafe Mortaza, who had earlier scored a rapid 23 with the bat, broke the partnership when Chigumbura edged to wicket-keeper Khaled Mashud.
Williams, who reached a watchful half-century from 95 balls, kept Zimbabwe in it.
But once he was caught in the deep off Razzak, the chase petered out.
Mortaza, who finished with 3-34, returned to see off Prosper Utseya and Christopher Mpofu - but Razzak delivered the final blow, trapping Edward Rainsford lbw.
Earlier in the day, Bangladesh had raced to 64 in the first nine overs - before Christopher Mpofu (4-42) and Keith Dabengwa (3-19) reined the rate back despite solid contributions from Shahriar Nafees, Mehrab Hossain jnr and Mohammad Ashraful.
