TwelfthMan: My account
Bangladesh have ignored top-order batsman Rajin Saleh and have retained the same team which played in the one-day international series against South Africa for the two-match Test series.
The talented 24-year-old was dropped from the team following a poor show at home against New Zealand last month.
Saleh had made 20 and six in the first match at Chittagong and was out for a two-ball duck in the rain-shortened second match in Dhaka.
Raqibul Hasan and Imrul Kayes were handed maiden Test call-ups, while fast bowler Nazmul Hossain returned to the squad four years after playing his only Test against India in Chittagong.
The first Test against South Africa starts in Bloemfontein on November 19, while the second Test is at Centurion on November 26.
Bangladesh squad: Mohammad Ashraful (captain), Tamim Iqbal, Junaid Siddique, Raqibul Hasan, Shakib Al Hasan, Mehrab Hossain jnr, Imrul Kayes, Naeem Islam, Mushfiqur Rahim (wk), Mashrafe Mortaza, Abdur Razzak, Shahadat Hossain, Syed Rasel, Nazmul Hossain, Mahbubul Alam.
