TwelfthMan: My account
Australia seamer Stuart Clark is a doubt for the second Test of the Border-Gavaskar series after he was ruled out of practice today due to an elbow injury.
An inflamed elbow joint had troubled Clark during the first Test against India in Bangalore, which ended in a draw.
Clark was not given the second new ball during India's first innings, on the third day, but was handed the new ball at the start of India's second innings.
He bowled only 17 overs in the first innings and had thrown underarm while fielding in the deep.
Australia physio Alex Kountouris said Clark would be rested today and an assessment made tomorrow.
"He's not going to bowl at training today,” he said. "We will see how he pulls up on Thursday and will play him if he feels okay."
The second Test in Mohali starts on Friday.
