Clarke doubtful for series finale
Australia captain Michael Clarke is a serious doubt for their last one-day international with Sri Lanka in Hobart due to a sprained ankle.
The 31-year-old was sent for treatment after suffering the injury in training today and a statement from Australia’s governing body confirmed: “Clarke will continue to be treated and further assessed by Cricket Australia medical staff.”

If Michael Clarke, left, is not able to play tomorrow, George Bailey, right, is set to lead Australia in what is a must-win game for them
Sri Lanka lead the five-match series 2-1 as game four was washed out after 53.2 overs in Sydney on Sunday.
Clarke was rested from the first two matches of the rubber along with David Warner and Matthew Wade, following Australia's 3-0 whitewash in the sides’ Test series. Clarke battled a hamstring complaint through the Melbourne Test after he was forced to retire in Hobart.
In Clarke’s absence, George Bailey, who has played all four series games, would likely lead the team at the Bellerive Oval.
Standing in for Clarke at the pre-match captain's press conference, Bailey said: "He's heading off for a scan now. Hopefully it's all clear. He'll be given right up until the toss tomorrow to prove that he's right to go. Hopefully that scan is clear. There will obviously be a little bit of pain but if he's 100% he'll play."
