Dilshan misses out

Opening batsman Tillakaratne Dilshan has been ruled out of Sri Lanka’s first Test with New Zealand at Galle, starting tomorrow.

The 36-year-old has not recovered from a strained back that ruled him out of the last two one-day internationals versus the same opponents this month.

Dimuth Karunaratne, 24, whose two international caps came in ODIs last year, has been brought into the squad.
