Brit to lead France U19s
British teenager Daniel Nott has been appointed captain of France Under-19s.
The 15-year-old has been given the role as France look for him to build a side before he has to move on in four years’ time.
“I am really looking forward to the summer season, especially as captain,” he said. “It’s going to be a new experience.”
The development comes amid news that cricket will be taught in French primary schools from the autumn.
“It is a good thing,” Nott said. “Hopefully, we can attract more people to the game.”
