ECB's Lord in coaching team

Gordon Lord is among a four-strong team set to hone aspiring coaches’ skills at the International Cricket Council European Men’s Academy.

Lord, the ECB’s head of elite coach development, joins ICC regional performance officer Philip Hudson, strength and conditioning specialist Mark Nash and sports psychologist Joce Brook.

The academy - which is in its 12th year - is held in Pune, India.

ICC Europe regional development manager Nick Pink is excited for an event which he believes serves an important purpose.

He said: “This is one of Europe’s flagship events and we have an excellent coaching team and facilities to ensure each and every participant get a tailored programme to develop their skills.”
