Mooney blow for Ireland

All-rounder John Mooney has been ruled out of the remainder of Ireland`s International Cricket Council World Twenty20 qualifier encounters through injury.

Cricket Ireland confirmed yesterday that Mooney had torn a hamstring during the 17-run win over Scotland in the United Arab Emirates.

Andrew Poynter has been called up as a replacement, with Ireland looking to maintain their push for a place in the tournament proper.
