Rain keeps Ireland waiting

Another abandonment in the fifth one-day international of the Tri-Series in Nairobi means Ireland must wait for the outcome of the final group game between Kenya and Zimbabwe to see if they qualify for the final.

If there is another washout when the hosts meet Zimbabwe at the Gymkhana on Thursday, the two African sides will progress to Saturday's final at Ireland's expense, due to a better net run rate.

The Irish will qualify unless there is a tie or an abandonment.
