"It's a special place. There's nowhere on earth like it to play cricket" - Andrew Flintoff.
Also known at the 'Home of Cricket', Lord's is the most famous cricket ground in the world. It is also the home of MCC and Middlesex County Cricket Club.
Steeped in tradition and history, Lord's generates a unique atmosphere and many players regard playing there as one of their career highlights.
Opened in 1814, Lord's is privately owned by the Marylebone Cricket Club and is best known for its pavilion which, despite being almost 120 years old, is recognisable the world over.
The ground comprises seven stands - Warner, Grandstand, Compton, Edrich, Mound, Tavern and Allen - while the new Media Centre, situated opposite the pavilion, provides an unblemished view of the ground.
Lord's is also famous for its slope, which runs from the Compton Stand to the Tavern Stand.
Plans have been submitted to redevelop the ground, projected to start in 2011, increasing the capacity by 10,000 to 38,000.
