India have named an unchanged squad for the two Twenty20 internationals with Pakistan but have made six alterations to the party for the three one-day internationals that follow with Yuvraj Singh recalled.

Yuvraj, who is back in action after recovering from a rare form of lung cancer, was expected to return to the ODI set-up after starring in this week’s 1-1 T20I draw with England. His last ODI was India’s 2011 World Cup final victory, after which the all-rounder was named player of the tournament.

Yuvraj is among the same 15 available after several injuries to face England that is set to make up the team for T20Is at Bangalore on Tuesday and Ahmedabad three days later.

However, there are significant changes to the ODI squad that won 4-1 in Sri Lanka during July and August, a tour that Sachin Tendulkar - who today retired from ODIs - did not take part in.

All-rounder Irfan Pathan, fast bowler Umesh Yadav and middle-order batsman Manoj Tiwary were left out due to injuries. Seamer Zaheer Khan was not considered to allow him time to get fit for the Tests with Australia beginning in February, although he could feature in January’s five ODIs with England, while spinners Pragyan Ojha and Rahul Sharma have been dropped.
