Praveen Kumar's hat-trick helped bowl Rajasthan out for 92, a total Bangalore overhauled with 9.2 overs to spare
Praveen Kumar claimed a hat-trick to inspire Royal Challengers Bangalore to a crushing 10-wicket win over Rajasthan Royals in the Indian Premier League.
The Indian pace bowler removed Damien Martyn, Sumit Narwal and Paras Dogra with successive deliveries in his third over, the 17th of the innings, as the Royals were bowled out for a meagre 92 at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium.
Leg-spinner Anil Kumble claimed 3-9 and Jacques Kallis 2-20, while only Yusuf Pathan managed more than 20 for the visitors. Only four batsmen reached double figures.
Kallis followed up his contribution with the ball with an unbeaten 44 off 34 balls as Bangalore sped home with 9.2 overs to spare.
He was ably assisted by Manish Pardey, who struck seven fours and a six in an unbeaten 42 off 30 deliveries to wrap up a second successive victory for Bangalore.
