Sri Lanka have named highly-rated Tharindu Kaushal, a 19-year old off-spinner with no senior experience, in their squad for the two Tests versus New Zealand.

Kaushal, who has been included mainly to gain experience of the international set-up, is unlikely to play in the first game at Galle but may be considered for the second match at Colombo.
