Lumb seals Sydney return
Nottinghamshire batsman Michael Lumb will once again represent Sydney Sixers, in the second edition of the Big Bash League - Australia’s domestic Twenty20 competition.
Lumb was part of the Sixers side that won the inaugural BBL last season and went on to finish as the leading run-scorer as Sydney claimed the Champions League T20 title last month.
The 32-year-old, who blasted 82 not out in the CLT20 final, was also a part of England’s World T20 squads in 2010, when they lifted the trophy, and 2012.

Sydney Sixers general manager Stuart Clark said of Nottinghamshire batsman Michael Lumb: "We can't wait to see him back here again."
Sixers general manager Stuart Clark said: "Lumby was a solid addition to our squad for BBL1 and his form was outstanding in the Champions League, joining with Brad Haddin to win the final at the Wanderers.
"He really enjoyed being in Sydney, the lifestyle and being near the beach for a surf last summer so we can't wait to see him back here again."
Lumb has been signed as a replacement for Umar Akmal, with the Pakistan batsman only available for the first three matches of the tournament, which starts next month.
