Marsh left out of initial CB Series party

Shaun Marsh, who hit 17 runs in six innings during the whitewash of India, has been omitted from Australia's initial one-day squad
Shaun Marsh has been omitted from Australia’s squad for their first three matches of the Commonwealth Bank Series with India and Sri Lanka.
Specialist batsman Marsh, who scored 17 runs in six innings during the 4-0 Test whitewash of India, has been replaced by uncapped Queensland right-hander Peter Forrest.
"Shaun Marsh is obviously disappointed with his own form in recent weeks and is out of the side, but remains in our thinking for the future while he works at state level - as they say, class is permanent but form can be temporary," chairman of selectors John Inverarity said.
Paceman Ryan Harris has been named in the 14-man party, and Matthew Wade replaces the rested Brad Haddin as wicketkeeper.
Inverarity said the squad is a "talented mix of experienced and proven performers with young players not yet experienced at international level."
Mitchell Marsh, the younger brother of Shaun, is in the squad for Australia's third one-day international.
With Haddin rested and Shane Watson still injured, a vice-captain to skipper Michael Clarke is yet to be named.
The Commonwealth Bank Series starts on Sunday with Australia playing India at the Melbourne Cricket Ground. Before then the sides meet in Twenty20 internationals on Wednesday at Sydney’s Stadium Australia and on Friday at the MCG.
Australia squad: Michael Clarke (captain), David Warner, Ricky Ponting, Peter Forrest, Daniel Christian, David Hussey, Michael Hussey, Matthew Wade (wicketkeeper), Brett Lee, Ryan Harris, Mitchell Starc, Xavier Doherty, Clint McKay, Mitchell Marsh.
