Mumbai to host 2011 final

Mumbai has been announced as the new venue for the final of the 2011 World Cup.

Delhi had originally been given the honour, but a meeting of the Board of Cricket Control in India instead decided to switch the final to the larger Wankhede Stadium.

Pakistan and Sri Lanka will still host the semi-finals of the tournament while the opening ceremony will be held at the Bongabandu stadium in Dhaka, Bangladesh.
