Pakistan drop Younus and Gul
Younus Khan and Umar Gul have been left out of Pakistan’s squad for the three one-day internationals with Australia in the United Arab Emirates, starting later this month.

Umar Gul and Younus Khan have paid the price for their poor performances during June's 3-1 one-day international defeat to hosts Sri Lanka
Batsman Younus and seamer Gul disappointed in June’s 3-1 ODI defeat to hosts Sri Lanka, respectively scoring 10 runs in three innings and taking four wickets from five games.
Mohammad Sami, who played in two of the Sri Lanka ODIs, and fellow seamer Rahat Ali, who featured once, also miss out.
Kamran Akmal, Junaid Khan and Shoaib Malik are notable inclusions, Junaid on the back of a fine Test series in Sri Lanka. The only relatively fresh face is Anwar Ali, the seamer whose only international was a Twenty20 in 2008.
Pakistan had already named a party for the subsequent T20 internationals with Australia and the World Twenty20 in Sri Lanka.
