Sohail Tanvir sends back India's Wasim Jaffer in his last Test match for Pakistan

Pakistan selectors have kept five players, including all-rounders Sohail Tanvir and Shahid Afridi, on standby for the second Test against Sri Lanka in Lahore.

The selectors have kept intact the 15-man squad picked for the first Test, but have expanded the reserves list in order to give the team management more variety.

The first Test against Sri Lanka in Karachi ended in a draw today, but with Pakistan firmly on top.

Along with Afridi and Tanvir, paceman Abdul Rauf, spinner Saeed Ajmal and opener Nasir Jamshed have also been included in the reserves list for the match which starts on Sunday.

"We have retained the same team for the second Test, but have included more players in the reserves list so that the captain and coach have more choice," chief selector Abdul Qadir told reporters.

Qadir said the five reserves would not travel with the team to Lahore, but would be called up only if required.

Pakistan squad: Younus Khan (captain), Salman Butt, Khurram Manzoor, Ahmed Shahzad, Shoaib Malik, Misbah-ul-Haq, Faisal Iqbal, Asim Kamal, Fawad Alam, Yasir Arafat, Danish Kaneria, Kamran Akmal (wkt), Umar Gul, Mohammad Talha, Sohail Khan.

Reserves: Nasir Jamshed, Shahid Afridi, Sohail Tanvir, Abdur Rauf, Saeed Ajmal.
