PCB revises Sri Lanka schedule
The Pakistan Cricket Board has changed the itinerary for the one-day series against Sri Lanka, with the first game now set for Karachi next Tuesday.
Sri Lanka agreed to tour Pakistan to fill a gap in the calendar created by India's refusal to travel as a result of the Mumbai terror attacks.
Under the original schedule, the ODIs were due to take place on January 21, 24 and 27 in Karachi, Lahore and Multan respectively.
But the PCB has revised the dates, agreeing to a request from Sri Lanka Cricket.
Sri Lanka are scheduled to arrive in Pakistan on January 18 and will play back-to-back matches in Karachi on January 20 and 21. The final match will be held in Lahore on January 24.
Sri Lanka are due to host India for five one-day internationals and a Twenty20 match before they return to Pakistan mid-February for a two-Test series.
