Perera action in doubt
Seam bowler Ruchira Perera
Former Sri Lanka fast bowler Ruchira Perera has been banned from bowling in the current domestic season due to a suspect bowling action.
The 30-year-old Colombo Colts paceman has been filmed, with footage sent to the Australian Institute of Sport for further analysis.
Perera, who featured in eight Tests and 17 one-day internationals for Sri Lanka, will not be allowed to play again until his action is cleared by the International Cricket Council.
