TwelfthMan: My account
Play was washed out for the third consecutive day of the second and final Test between Bangladesh and New Zealand in Mirpur today.
Although the rain finally relented on day three, a sodden outfield meant no play was possible and umpires Asoka de Silva and Daryl Harper finally gave up hope at around 2pm local time.
The abandonment meant not a single ball had been bowled by in the first three days of the Test at the Shere Bangla National Stadium.
The Black Caps lead the two-Test series 1-0 following their three-wicket victory in Dhaka.
