Proteas drop Gibbs and Zondeki
Batsman Herschelle Gibbs and fast bowler Monde Zondeki have been omitted from the South Africa squad to tour Bangladesh.
Hashim Amla, Andre Nel and Neil McKenzie, however, have been included in the Proteas’ 14-man party after coming through fitness tests.
The first of two Tests gets under way on February 22 before three one-day internationals next month.
South Africa squad: G Smith (captain), A Prince (vice-captain), H Amla, J Botha, M Boucher, AB de Villiers, JP Duminy, P Harris, J Kallis, N McKenzie, M Morkel, A Nel, M Ntini, D Steyn.
