Rain rules at Durban
The first Twenty20 international between South Africa and Pakistan was abandoned due to persistent rain in Durban.
No play had been possible at Kingsmead when, with the conditions showing no sign of improving, the umpires decided to call the contest off before the cut-off of 8:40pm local time.
The second of the two-match T20I series is due to be played in Centurion on Sunday, where the Proteas will look to build on their 3-0 sweep of Pakistan in the Test series.
