Shoaib Akhtar was one of five fast bowlers named in the Pakistan squad for the one-day series against West Indies in Abu Dhabi.
Shoaib, who returned from a string of disciplinary problems for the T20 Canada tournament in October, lines up alongside fellow pacemen Umar Gul, Sohail Tanvir, Rao Iftikhar, Anjum and Abdur Rauf in the 15-man party.
The 33-year-old has impressed in two recent games for the Federal Areas, taking nine wickets, including 4-14 against Punjab.
Mohammad Yousuf is also included after missing the trip to Canada because of visa problems.
The series starts on November 12 with all three games being staged at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium.
